Expired 400VC - Roll A

I say expired because it's about a year out of date, and based on the negs, looks like it hadn't been refrigerated by the guy I bought it from. Still gave acceptable results in daylight, but strange color response and I suspect it was no longer really ISO 400. I posted everything, even stuff I was unsatisfied with; I wasn't treating this as 'expired,' but I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.

Kodak 400VC (slightly expired) - Fuji GSW690III (220, meaning 16 shots on the roll, presumably one was blank, because I was left with only 15)

Still in Staunton.

Outside an antique store (actually between two buildings of an antique store) in Staunton.

Belle's Isle - Richmond, VA. This was by far the best shot on the roll; fantastic detail, perfect exposure (payoff for lugging by grey card and meter along).

I was hoping for better on this, but flare killed the contrast; the built hood only does so much on such a wide lens. Still Belle's Isle.

Abandoned factory on Belle's Isle; my Dad led me here. It was a really fun adventure.

Same factory.

Due to egregious underexposure (not sure how; I thought I was metering carefully), the iPhone version of this actually came out better. I'll return and make a better one, maybe.

This came out nicely though, looking up from the same place.

Seems like an homage to something classic... sans human: http://larrydewitt.net/SSinGAPE/labor.htm

Second-best shot on the roll. Made me really glad I took the GSW690III.

I tried to fire a flash in here but I see no evidence in the exposure... the Fuji doesn't seem to play nice with flash despite using a leaf shutter.

Lens flare killed contrast; I never got the color right either.

Now in New York with Amuse Bouche, transients en route to housing... complicated circumstances resulted in us carrying luggage for miles. Much of mine was cameras; despite using a backpack, it made shooting even more difficult than normal. The color on this shot was strange, and difficult to work with.

Again, does not play well with flash. In the lobby of the PIT - People's Improv Theater

That and I may not know how to use bounce flash that well.
