Amuse Bouche in NYC - Year 2 - Part 2

Part two in my continuing saga of stalling before posting the last of my rolls from last semester and beginning to post rolls from this semester. I will continue to endeavor to post one roll a day, but since I don't shoot a whole roll of film every day, I'm not sure how long I'll sustain this before I totally run out.

Ilford Delta 3200 - Exposed between EI1600 and 2500, Processed around a minute longer with reduced agitation (in an effort to increase shadow detail, with mixed success)

Outside the apartment of one of our alumni. We thought she was holding out by not offering to house us, but there was no open space at all for visitors.

This quote reminded me of a play I will perform in in February. It's surpisingly sharp for being taken on a moving subway.

In the lobby of the Magnet Theater. This photo is all about faces.

Outside Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, a favorite recurrent hangout of my improv group. And many other improv groups, for that matter. Since you can make out information in the shadowy areas (buildings in the background), I count the low-contest development technique a partial success.

Outside the same, waiting in line.

Outside the same, waiting in line, different perspective.

Inside the same, before the show.

During the Death By Roo Roo show; a flashback.

Roo Roo's extended Robocop firefight death montage.

A remarkably sharp photo taken in a subway station.

It's actually hard to focus and hold a camera steady on a moving subway, as evidenced by this photo.

So candid.

I thought I'd include the people to my teammate's right and left, but to do so unobtrusively, I put the camera on my knee. I didn't check the compostion (which I could've done by removing the prism), and I wound up cutting off faces, resulting in this semi-crotch-shot.

Another great photo from a subway station.

In the living room of the alumna who actually had enough space (and cooperative roommates) to house us.
